HAVE A MAN TELL THIS STORY AS IF HE WAS A CUSTOMER AT THE DRUG STORE ...

Let me tell you a story about what happen to me here in town.
Sanford Bennett owns a drug store in our town of Elkhorn, Wisconsin.
He has a friend, that we all know, Joseph Webster. Now, Joe is a musicain, vocalist, violinist, and occasionally wrote hymns and songs with Sanford.

Well, this particular day I entered the store Sanford was at his desk writting. There were others in the store so we started talking. I asked them what was going on. They told me that Joe had come in all blue and down and had answer Sanford question about what was going on, "Oh, it doesn't matter, it will be alright by and by." They said Sanford had gone to his desk, immediately, and begun writting.

About that time Sanford came to Joe handed him a piece of paper and said, "Here's your prescription, Joe, I hope it works."

Joe read it out loud to all of us.

There's a land that is fairer than day,
And by faith we can see it afar;
For the Father waits over the way,
To prepare us a dwelling place there.

In the sweet by and by,
We shall meet on that beautiful shore,
In the sweet by and by,
We shall meet on that beautiful shore.

Quess what? Instantly Joe began to write down notes. Picked up his fiddle and played his melody a time or two and soon we were all singing. R. R. Crosby walked in the store, as we sang, and when we had ended he said, "Gentlement, that song is immortal."
